When you come to church to worship with us, you may wonder.....

"Why do people go to church?"

We go to church to worship God, to have fellowship with other believers, and to hear the preaching of God's Word, the Bible.

"Why is God worthy of worship?"

God the Father created us and the world. After Adam and Eve fell into sin, which broke the relationship between God and man, God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to restore this broken relationship. Christ did this by dying on the cross for our sins. It is because of God's amazing creation and this ultimate sacrifice that we worship Him.

"As a Christian, what does God require of us?"

Our purpose here on earth is to glorify our God; to show our thankfulness to Him. We do this by doing what is right. Jesus Christ is the perfect example of what is good and right. Therefore our goal is to become more like Jesus.

Love is the greatest virtue and demonstration of the reality of Jesus Christ, therefore we strive to show a Christ-like love towards all men. God requires that we show love in our lives through our words as well as our actions. This can be achieved by abiding in Christ though His Word, prayer and fellowship, and the the work of the Holy Spierit in our hearts.
